Take a listen to some of the new menu music.

Not gonna lie, I initially misread the title and thought it said Wii U Music and almost fell off the couch thinking that a sequel to Wii Music had somehow been announced.
Maybe it's because I'm not a huge fan of the game (though I'll buy it and definitely enjoy it) but I'm experiencing Smash Bros. information fatigue...I could hear nothing more about the game until the reviews for the Wii U version come out and I'd be perfectly happy. I get that it's a huge game for them and they want to keep it in peoples' minds as much as possible but the slow drip of information is just too much for me.

The 3DS version is less then 2 months away from release in Japan. If you think this is too much information now, you might want to leave the internet because this is nothing compared to what's about to be unleashed.
Eh...I hope you can change the menu music like you can in Brawl. Compared to Brawl & Melee's menu music, this is rather underwhelming and generic.

The My Music feature was already confirmed back in April, so yes you can change it. Melee's alternate menu music was even in the same Direct so we know that's one of the choices sense every piece of music used in these Smash video's/Direct is in the game.
